We can supply bollards up to 300mm square and 3.6 meters long. The timbers we supply are White Cypress pine, un-seasoned Spotted Gum and Iron Bark.

Some Architects are now asking for Seasoned bollards but the only way to achieve this is to air dry the posts in racks for up to Two years depending on the species.

Posts in any species come from the mills un-seasoned, they can not be kiln dried due to the size and with time restraints and the huge costs involved, air drying isn't viable. Bollards will naturally season over time once installed.

Be assured we only use the very best Sustainable F7 structural White Cypress Pine (Callitris Glaucophylla) for your Bollard project that will last a lifetime.

Real data shows it has a fantastic lifespan on just the smallest 50 x 50mm post tested, lasting up to 40 years above ground and 24.5 years in ground.

Impact Hole.
Delineator & Chamfered Edges.
Scalloped Edges & Faces
IImpact protection holes are essential for bollards installed along roadsides, parks, and reserves. Designed to lessen the force of a vehicle collision, they are typically paired with delineators recessed 10mm into the timber to prevent vandalism (Red for approach, White for departure).

Decorative & Safety Edging: While scalloped edges offer a decorative finish, chamfered edges serve a dual purpose: enhancing the aesthetic while removing sharp corners and splinters for a safer, user-friendly finish.

Why use White Cypress Pine?

Our own Super Woody repels White Ants and stops them in their tracks.
Naturally Termite Resistant: Contains natural oils that resist white ants and is not susceptible to Lyctid Borer attack (chemical-free).
Class 2 In-Ground Durability: Life expectancy of 15–25 years in the ground and Class 1 above ground, 40+ years.
Low Shrinkage Rate: A very low 2.6% shrinkage rate means minimal warping and movement compared to other timbers.
F7 Structural Rated: A moderately hard Australian softwood (Janka rating ~6.4 kN) that offers the perfect balance of strength and machinability.
Sustainably Sourced: Forest-certified and affordable Australian timber.
Beautiful Character: Features a striking yellow-brown to orange-brown heartwood with a fine texture, straight grain, and distinctive tight knots.

All Natural, No Chemical Treatments!

Because White Cypress Pine is a naturally durable timber (rated Class 1 Above Ground and Class 2 In-ground), it already contains the natural resins required to protect it from fungi, insects, and decay, making it a popular chemical-free choice.

NO hazardous chemical treatments (like CCA) or need for labour intensive installation of chemical treatment rods.
Keep your project clean and simple.

While our timber is naturally Class 1 durable, we recommend this simple step to make it last a lifetime, by adding a Non-hazardous, creosote-based paint.

Adding (Bondall or Diggers Eco) to the buried section of your post, even on the highest in-ground class timbers is an Eco-friendly step and  the most effective wat to achieve the longest possible lifespan for your fencing and other projects.

Don’t Wait to Paint: Zero Weathering Required

Woody painting a Post & Rail Fence Monument.

Timbers like Merbau and Spotted Gum require a "seasoning" period for the sun and rain to release natural oils and tannins. If you paint them too early, the finish fails. If you wait too long, the timber turns grey and splits
White Cypress Pine is ready for the brush the moment it is delivered.
✅No Tannin Bleed: Don't worry about staining your concrete or pavers.
✅Superior Adhesion: The grain is ready immediately, oils penetrate deep into the timber, and paints bond securely for a finish that lasts years.
